THOUGHTS

  1. Personal development is a journey that requires introspection, self-awareness, and self-reflection. It involves examining one’s thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors to understand their impact on life and the shaping of experiences. The significance of thoughts in personal development cannot be overstated, and it is crucial to understand this relationship if you aim to achieve growth and fulfillment, whether in your personal life or work life.

YOUR thoughts create YOUR reality. Dr. Wayne Dyer, lives by the axiom “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” This highlights the first role of thoughts in personal development, thoughts shape the way you perceive the world and the experiences you have in it. If you consistently harbor negative, self-defeating thoughts, you then expect to see and will attract negative experiences into your life. On the other hand, cultivating a positive, growth-oriented thought life will result in positive experiences that help you grow and develop. It will allow you to see the experience for what it really is. An experience.

The second part is that thoughts influence actions and behaviors. A negative self-image will likely lead to avoidance of challenging situations or engage in behaviors that reinforce the negative self-image. On the other hand, a positive self-image results in taking risks, pursuing goals, and engaging in activities that enhance growth and development.  Louise Hay, wrote, “What we think about ourselves becomes the truth for us.” Simple in theory but not easy in practice, if your open to some suggestions here are few ways in which you can start to alter and shift your thoughts to become healthier in your thought-life.

    • Practice mindfulness:  According to Jon Kabat-Zinn, a pioneer in the field of mindfulness, “Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.” Mindfulness, paying attention to thoughts and emotions without judgment, can help everyone gain an objective perspective and reduce the power of negative thoughts in their lives. Writing things down will help clear the fog and straighten out some of those thoughts running recklessly in our mind.
    • Challenge negative thoughts: Negative thoughts can be incredibly powerful, but they often stem from false beliefs and assumptions. Challenging these thoughts helps us see them for what they are and reduces their impact on life. When negative thoughts arise, we should ask ourselves if it is based on evidence or if it is simply a habit. If it is not based on evidence, reframing the thought in a positive, empowering manner can help. Tony Robbins, says, “The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships with your thoughts.” How would you describe your relationship with your thoughts?
    • Get better at positive self-talk: The inner dialogue can be incredibly influential, and it is crucial to make sure it is positive and supportive. Instead of engaging in self-criticism, we should talk to ourselves in an uplifting manner. Celebrating successes and acknowledging efforts, even when things do not go as planned, can help cultivate a positive inner dialogue. This does not mean we allow ourselves off the hook, holding ourselves accountable for our actions is positive self-talk, but in a way that is not overly critical of efforts and things that we are in control of.
    • Surround oneself with positive influences: The environment has a significant impact on thoughts and beliefs. You will become like the people you spend most time with. If you spend time with 5 Healthy eaters you will become the 6th,  5 financially wise friends you will become the 6th and so on. Surrounding ourself with positive, supportive, and encouraging people can help cultivate a positive mindset. Seeking role models who embody desired qualities and values and spending time with them regularly can also have a positive impact.
    • Take Action: Personal growth is not just about changing thoughts but also taking action. Getting involved in activities that challenge, help grow, and bring joy can foster personal growth in the area of your mind. Pursuing a new hobby, taking a course, or volunteering in the community are examples of ways we can seek out opportunities to grow, and give you new ways to outwork your new way of thinking.

Growing our understanding that thoughts play a crucial role in personal development is step 1. Understanding the relationship between thoughts and experiences can help individuals manage and control their thoughts and cultivate a positive, more meaningful perspective on life, and their involvement in it.

Don’t underestimate the role of your thoughts in your life. Take time to write them out examine and change them with persistence and dedication to the person you are becoming.

4 Powerful Little Words That Make Life Worthwhile By Jim Rohn

  1. You’ve no doubt heard the phrase, a muscle never stretched never grows. The big challenge we all face is how to become all that we can be. That’s why Jim Rohn often said, “You can have more because you can become more—and unless you change how you are, you will always have what you’ve got.”

And he’s right. You know how good it feels to maximize your own potential and stretch yourself to the limit. In this presentation by Jim Rohn to thousands, the motivational thought leader shares four powerful words that can make living worthwhile:

    1. Life is worthwhile if you learn.

You have to have learning to exist, let alone succeed. What you don’t know will hurt you. So you have to learn from your own experiences—negative or positive. We learn to do it right by first sometimes doing it wrong—we call that a positive negative. We also learn from other people’s experiences, both positive and negative, too. I’ve always said that it is too bad failures don’t give seminars. Obviously, we don’t want to pay them so they aren’t usually touring around giving seminars. But that information would be very valuable—we would learn how someone who had it all messed it up. Learning from other people’s adventures and mistakes is valuable information because we can learn what not to do without the pain of having tried and failed ourselves.

We learn by what we see, so pay attention. We learn by what we hear, so be a good listener. (Now, I do suggest that you should be a selective listener; don’t just let anybody dump into your mental factory.) We learn from what we read, so open a book (or two or three). Learn from lectures. Learn from songs. Learn from sermons. Learn from conversations with people who care. Always keep learning.

Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.

    2. Life is worthwhile if you try.

You can’t just learn. Now you have to try something to see if you can do it. Try to make a difference. Try to make some progress. Try to learn a new skill, or a new sport. It doesn’t mean you can do everything, but there are a lot of things you can do, if you just try. Why not go all out? Try your best. Give it every effort.

How long should you try? Until.

    3. Life is worthwhile if you stay.

You have to stay from spring until harvest. What does that mean? If you have signed up for the day or for the game or for the project, see it through. Sometimes calamity comes and then it is worth wrapping it up—and that’s the end. But just don’t end in the middle. Maybe on the next project you pass, but on this one, if you signed up, stay until it’s finished—and always leave it better than you found it.

Some people plant in the spring and leave in the summer. If you’ve signed up for a season, see it through. You don’t have to stay forever, but at least stay until you see it through.

    4. Life is worthwhile if you CARE.

If you care at all, you will get some results. If you care enough, you can get incredible results. Care enough to make a difference. Care enough to turn somebody around. Care enough to start a new enterprise. Care enough to change it all. Care enough to be the highest producer. Care enough to set some records. Care enough to win.

The more you care, the stronger you can be.

5 Key Travel Tips for a Smooth and Enjoyable Trip

Whether you’re an experienced traveler or setting out on your first adventure, these practical tips will ensure a seamless and enjoyable journey!

  1. Take Photos of Important Documents
Snap pictures of your passport, visa, ID, and travel insurance. Store them in your phone and cloud for easy access in case of loss or theft.

  2. Use a Portable Charger
Keep your phone and other devices charged while exploring. A power bank is a lifesaver when navigating new places or taking photos.

  3. Pack a Small First-Aid Kit
Include band-aids, pain relievers, motion sickness pills, and any personal medications. It’s better to be prepared than to search for a pharmacy in an unfamiliar place.

  4. Download Offline Maps
Use Google Maps or other navigation apps offline to avoid getting lost without Wi-Fi. Mark key locations like your hotel, train stations, and must-visit spots.

  5. Carry a Reusable Water Bottle
Stay hydrated while traveling and save money by refilling instead of buying bottled water. In countries with questionable water quality, use a bottle with a built-in-filter.

Happy travels!

Plan ahead, book your World Tour, or you might miss out!

  • To cancel a World Tour please email worldtours@travorium.com

Hotel Check-in Requirements

  • By booking this World Tour I understand that the hotel may request a credit card upon check-in. The hotel may request the credit card in order to: a) place a monetary hold of $100-$200/per night; or b) hold for incidental, security or other charges. By booking, I acknowledge having received notice of this potential charge and accept that Travorium recommends a credit card rather than a debit or bank card be used in the event the hotel requests the card.
  • I understand that any such request made by the hotel is outside of the control of Travorium and is strictly a hotel policy. Should I have questions concerning the hotel’s policy, I accept responsibility for contacting the hotel independently of Travorium.

Please note

  • The price for every World Tour is subject to change based on promotional pricing availability, room type(s) booked, taxes, etc.
  • Pricing shown is based on 2 adults per room, unless otherwise is mentioned.
  • Members can’t combine Travel Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of Travel Points you can use. Only the booking member points can be used.
  • Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up to date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for this World Tour will apply.
  • Each individual, including each child, who is coming along with you on your World Tour is required to have a booking prior to the commencement of the trip. If you do not book and pay for each such person in advance of the trip, you will be charged the hotel’s then-current rate, not the World Tour price, for each such person at the time of your check-in.
  • Pricing for children is based on their age at the time of travel and may be subject to additional terms and conditions of individual hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Also, pricing for children can vary, and may be higher than pricing for adults (Only applicable if the World Tour is accepting more than two guests).
  • Know before you go: As you make plans for current and future travel, stay up to date on your resort’s COVID-19 protocols and other precautionary measures.
